Introducing Kenat (ቀናት): The open-source toolkit for the Ethiopian calendar.

This library solves the complexities of working with Ethiopia's 13-month calendar by providing a single, reliable solution for developers. The JavaScript version is stable and ready to use.

Core Features:

• Full Calendar System: Handles conversions (EC↔GC), date arithmetic, and Ge'ez numerals.

   

   

   

• Complete Holiday Engine: Calculates all fixed, movable Christian (via Bahire Hasab), and movable Islamic holidays.

   

   

   

• Headless UI: Comes with kenat-ui, a set of headless hooks for building custom calendar components in React.

The vision is a multi-language toolkit. I am now starting the next phase and looking for collaborators to help port Kenat to Python, Dart, and PHP.
